From traffic lights to starry nights

 

Bike Avondale's Night Ride event was a huge success in July 2023 with thousands of locals spilling into the street by foot and bike to enjoy kai, company and big bunch of activities.  Part of the Open Streets programme funded by Waka Kotahi, the event closed part of Great North Road in Avondale to get cars off the road, and allow residents to own their neighbourhood.  A huge success.
