Be sure to mark Avondale’s first Christmas Parade on your calendar and come on down with the whole fam to enjoy Avondale's first Christmas parade [find the latest on Facebook].

 

This is the fourth event in series run by AT's Open Streets programme - close streets to cars & opening them to people!

 

From 11am to 2pm there's just three short hours to soak in the fun – makete, kai, music from local artists and DJs and of course, the parade – showcasing the best of AD with our theme - “All Things Bright & Beautiful.”

 

Parade floats will leave Avondale Racecourse at 11am sharp, travel up Elm St to Rosebank Road, and to Great North Road where participants will join in the fun on the main street below Avondale Primary School. 

 

Come cheer them on!
