The Avondale Mainstreet Business Awards are an opportunity to celebrate our local businesses.  It is you, our customers, who are our best judging panel, so please take a moment to tell us why they deserve to win.

Terms & Conditions​

  1. The business with the greatest number of votes in each category wins.

  2. You do not need to enter a business in every category.

  3. This competition covers only businesses within the Avondale town centre.

  4. Business owners may self-nominate.

  5. Just one vote per person.

  6. Deadline for voting, Friday 5pm, 22 September 2023.

  7. Feedback may be provided (anonymously) to each winner and made available for their promotional material.

1.  BEST COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTOR

Recognises an organisation, charity or business that has a positive impact on the community.

2.  BEST DAIRY OR SUPERMARKET

Your favourite dairy, superette or supermarket.

3.  BEST HEALTH PROVIDER

Exceptional service from a doctor, dentist, chemist, physio, optometrist, or other health provider.

4.  BEST EATERY

Your favourite café, caterer, bakery, restaurant or takeaway joint.

5.  BEST HAIR, BARBER OR BEAUTY

Who's helped you look the most fabulous this year?  

6.  BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Recognises an organisation that demonstrates excellent and sustained customer service - that has gone above and beyond!

7.  PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD

The one Avondale business that impressed you the most in 2023.
